MiloStream Terms of Use
1. Purpose
MiloStream is software designed to play, organise and access multimedia sources configured by the user. MiloStream is not a provider of television channels, movies, series, IPTV packages, subscriptions, servers, streams or audiovisual catalogues.
2. Sources and content provided by the user
The user configures their own sources, including Xtream Codes, M3U URLs, M3U files or Portal / MAC access. Adding a source to MiloStream does not constitute validation of its legality and does not grant any rights over content accessible through that source.
The user agrees to use only sources and content they are legally authorised to access and to comply with copyright, neighbouring rights, trademarks, licences, subscription agreements and all applicable regulations.
3. Prohibited uses
MiloStream must not be used to fraudulently access a service, bypass a protection measure, redistribute protected content without authorisation, use credentials belonging to a third party without permission, or more generally to carry out unlawful activity.
4. Third-party services and providers
IPTV servers, streams, EPG guides, metadata, Internet connections and other external services are supplied by third parties independent of MiloStream. MiloStream does not control their availability, quality, legality, accuracy, security or continuity.
An interruption, change, block, outage, poor stream quality or disappearance of content originating from a third-party provider cannot be attributed to MiloStream when the cause is external to the application.
5. Credentials and security
The user is responsible for the confidentiality and use of their login credentials and devices. They must provide only credentials they are authorised to use.
During a remote support session, sensitive configuration data is encrypted for the relevant TV before transmission. The temporary support code should only be shared with a trusted person.
6. MiloStream licence
A MiloStream licence may be linked to a maximum number of devices and may be subject to an expiry date. Any attempt to bypass, falsify or abuse the licence mechanism may result in suspension or revocation of the relevant licence, subject to any mandatory rights applicable to the user.
7. Updates
Updates may fix issues, strengthen security, maintain Android / Fire TV compatibility or add features. The version number and main changes are indicated in the application. Some updates may become necessary to maintain security or compatibility.
8. Technical data
For licence management, updates and support, MiloStream may process technical information such as a hashed installation identifier, device model, Android version, application version, activity timestamps and, during support, technical configuration information and group names. Sensitive IPTV credentials transmitted during remote support are designed to be encrypted before being sent to the administration server.
9. User responsibility
The user is solely responsible for the choice of providers, sources, credentials, content accessed and use of the application. It is the user's responsibility to verify that they have the required rights and authorisations.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, MiloStream cannot be held responsible for the content, practices or failures of third-party providers, the unavailability of an external stream, loss of access caused by a third-party provider, incorrect configuration by the user, unlawful use of the application, or damage resulting from a faulty device, network or external service.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or to deprive a consumer of mandatory rights granted by applicable law.
11. Availability and no guarantee regarding third-party services
MiloStream is provided with the aim of reasonable operation and maintenance. No guarantee is given regarding the permanent availability or performance of services, content or infrastructure operated by third parties.
12. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may evolve to reflect changes to the application, its services or the legal framework. New acceptance may be requested where a material change occurs.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law, without depriving a consumer of any mandatory protective provisions available under the law applicable to them.
14. Contact
For questions relating to MiloStream or these Terms, the user may contact the MiloStream administrator through the contact channel provided with the application or licence.
By using MiloStream after accepting these Terms, the user acknowledges having read them and agrees to comply with them.
